Not a nice morning but better than scotland with -20 temperatures.

I have to go to the surgery again this morn. No too far but on untreated roads.

I'd like to go to the library but think it is not the day for driving more thn one has to.

Ialso need to walk to keep my leg mobile but will have to use the rowing machine and hope that will do.

My Ds1 30 today! cant quite believe it, feel a bit strange about having a 30 year old son!
Still he is the apple of his mothers eye so thank God for him.

You should be glad for me, we really have missed each other.

If you think having a 30 year old child is old. Then think of me my youngest is 40 this year.

So glad that Helena is coming home today and that you won't have to travel to see her.
It is so sweet that you missed her and i'm glad God blessed you with her.

Hopefully on Wednesday the consultant will be able to help your leg John (praying for that).

I can't believe your youngest is 40, you don't look a day over 30 yourself

It's great Helena is coming home that must be a worry of your mind John now all you need is less pain and that leg seen to...praying for this for you John.

Just had a message that she is coming after dinner.

I am apprehensive of the next visit to consultant and am afraid that he will want to operate again, And I don't want any more surgery, I've had enough.

Helena says she will be home before three o clock.

You were both on my mind at 3am, so I prayed for you both then.

Had my eye test yesterday, and I think the machine with the spots & clicker has not done my neck much good. The upside is I get new glasses soon so I'll be able to read my bible properly again, the print it it has shrunk quite badly over the last couple of years and I never even put it on a hot wash [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

With my glasses I don't have trouble reading even my shrunk bible. I do have trouble seeing the TV unless I wear a pair of glasses with holes in them.
They use them to test my eyes when I go for a diabetic retinopathy test and they really do make a big difference.

Helena is home and reasonably mobile everything considered.
My leg is BAD and I am afraid that next wed will mean another operation.

Just a quick post to say I'd not forgotten you all...got OH off work today (he has the dentist - filling coming out) and for the next 2 days, so will maybe get a wee trip out..DS has exams so he is either off or home very early, so not much peace and quiet this week all in all LOL.

Very very windy and dashed cold here today, hope it's nicer where you are.

it feels like it's getting colder here bit by bit Hetty. Thankfully, with the mild spell we've had, we have quite a bit of pre-paid for gas in the meter, topping up again today too, after all, look what last february was like [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Nice quiet day here today, OH is off and DS back from school from doing his *revising*.

It's dead cold though and seems we will get snow next week..brrrr.

We went round the garden centre yesterday, can't wait for the better weather and to get out and do stuff in the garden.

But bad weather gives a wonderful excuse to stay in doors.

Sorry i haven't been in for a while ive been really busy what with one thing and another but when something really good comes up in my life I want to share it and the first place I sought out was my friends in here.
