I suppose this is what happened on that *other* forum.
Just read someones post (elsewhere, not Christian) about foxes killing ducks.
These aren't farmyard or pet ducks, they are wild, yet the writer seems to be treating it all a bit personally, and others are sympathising.
I don't know if I'm being hard, but I just don't grieve for every dead animal.
I'm wondering if this not coping with death and the *natural* world is all going a bit far.
A fox is never going to act like a human, it's a fox !!!
Foxes are blamed for all kinds of things because people don't understand the way they work. They kill for food not pleasure. They kill to feed themselves and their young. They kill to fill their larders for harder times.
When we think they are killing indiscriminately, they are being proficient.
If the dead prey is left alone, the foxes will come back for it.
If it's removed, they'll be back for it, but need to kill more.
Of course, just with everything in a fallen world, there can be rogue foxes, dogs, cats and even ducks!!!
An easy way to stop foxes killing is to feed them
